Terms of Service

These terms are a simple agreement between you and AssetMeld. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. What the service is

AssetMeld is a pay-as-you-go AI API. You add balance to your account and use our API to send requests to supported AI models. You are responsible for how you use the service and for what you build with it.

2. Your account

Keep your password, API keys, and login details private. You are responsible for everything done through your account until you revoke a key or report a compromise. You may not resell or share your access without our written permission.

3. Balance and charges

You pay in advance for usage. The price shown at the time a request starts is the price that request is charged. If prices change later, the change only applies to later requests. Balance you add is not a bank account or investment — it is prepaid credit for API usage.

4. How usage is measured

We measure the usage a request consumes with our own accounting and charge you at the published rates. Our measurement is what appears in your billing history. Payment and refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

5. Availability

The service and individual models may be unavailable, change, or be discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent access to any specific model.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or close an account for abuse, fraud, chargebacks, attacks, sharing or reselling access, legal or security risk, or anything that endangers the service or other users.

7. AI output

AI output can be wrong, outdated, or unsuitable for your purpose. You review the output and are responsible for your own decisions. Do not rely on the service alone for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions.

8. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the service, its accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

10. Your responsibility for claims

You agree to cover us for claims, damages, and reasonable costs that arise from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Ending use and changes

You can stop using the service and revoke keys at any time. Remaining balance, refunds, and disputes are handled under the Refund Policy. We may update these terms; the updated date above will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
